About the Class

The MTSU record label is designed to give students a full understanding of the music industry. The semester begins with a recording experience and evolves through songwriting, music publishing, artist management, business affairs, A&R, Internet marketing, record promotion and music history. During the semester, highly qualified producers, engineers, managers, artists, and music business executives will visit and work directly with our students.
